V-E-T Update

Hey efurrybody, Percy here in my new slippers from Zoey at Zoolatry. Since lots of people have been asking about me, I made Dad sit down long enough to help me write a post about how my V-E-T troubles have been going.

I don't have to have surgery right now... the V-E-T said it was OK if we wait for a little while to see if the thingy on my paw grows back and if it does then they will know more about it. All of us are furry furry busy getting ready to move to a new house and I don't think mom and dad want me to have to be moved with a sore foot. After we get moved, then they'll be operating on it again in a couple months. I heard them say they're going to take MY WHOLE TOE off this time. This is kind of scary, but when you think about it what are toes good for anyway? I have 20 of them, it's not like I don't have spare if I ever DO need one.

Surgeries are good for dieting. I have lost a whole pound since my last surgery. I feel a lot better and like to play a lot more often. So I'm hoping that if I have to lose a toe, and that's what it sounds like, then at least I will lose the WEIGHT of the toe, and maybe a couple of pounds in addition.

All considered, it's not so bad right now. I'm not really looking forward to going back to the V-E-T, but with any luck this will be the last time.

Thanks to Ann at Zoolatry for the graphic at the top of the post!

Purrs,

Percy

Zoolatry made you a really neat graphic. I like it a lot. I hope the thing doesn't grow back and you get to keep your toe. I wish you the best of luck with the M-word.

Thanks for telling us how you are doing. I am sorry you will probably have to lose a toe, but I'll bet you will hardly even miss it once it heals all up. I hope your move goes smoothly!

I'm glad to hear things are looking up Percy! And you are right, if you don't get to keep your toe, 19 toes is plenty!
